RGIT has established a research centre in the name of its honourable chairman, Shri P. Sadasivan on the vast experience of his teaching profession as an academician and his imagination, innovation and inspiration to all for the quality learning.
The primary function of R & D is to develop new products or to discover and create new knowledge about scientific and technological topics. The research attempts to find answer for intellectual and practical questions through application of systematic methods.
The research and development activities at RGIT involves the systematic investigative activities involved with both basic and applied research with the intention of making discovery that can either lead to development of new product or the procedure or to improve the existing procedures. The research activities at RGIT also involves descriptive, analytical, qualitative, quantitative, conceptual, empirical researches.
